Yellowstone
Yellowstone is a geological wonder that has fascinated mankind for over 5,000 years. In 1872, Yellowstone became the first national park, this land mass covers an area of 3,468 square miles that border Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. My nephew and I camped here for three days, visiting several geysers, hot springs, and viewing the spectacular wildlife that thrive in the Lamar and Hayden Valleys.

The Excelsior Geyser is between the Firehole River and Grand Prismatic Spring. The runoff from this geyser flows more than 4,000 gallons of boiling water per minute into the Firehole River.
