Yellowstone is a geological wonder that has fascinated mankind for over 5,000 years. In 1872, Yellowstone became the first national park, this land mass covers an area of 3,468 square miles that border Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. My nephew and I camped here for three days, visiting several geysers, hot springs, and viewing the spectacular wildlife that thrive in the Lamar and Hayden Valleys.

This 6x6 bull was walking along the bank of the Firehole River. He has earned the status of being called "Royal" based upon the 6 tines on either side of his antlers.
