~ Green Light Resolutions 2022 ~
Hopefully all of you have some new and attainable goals for 2022? I would like to share 2 of my main objectives to become a better photographer.
1.) I got a Canon mirrorless camera with an articulating screen for Christmas with a 24x105 lens. I want to learn everything about this camera from inside and out, which means practice, practice, practice, this will enable me to navigate quicker, particularly when the light is changing, or an interesting subject suddenly enters the scene such as wildlife. Also, still looking for the sweet spot with the 24x105 lens, from the small amount of experience that I did shooting this scene and others in Astoria it seems to be f/8 - f16.
2.) Never stop learning...... photography is infinite, and the learning curve is endless which is exactly why it is my choice for my hobby. I plan on doing it for a long time and I hope you do too.
This is a long exposure of 20 sec at f/16 of the Liberty Theatre in downtown Astoria on a chilly night with my nephew. Thankfully, he remembered to bring hand warmers because I forgot mine. Goal number 3 could be better preparation? 🤣
