~ Where River and Mountain Meet ~
The 1,240-mile-long Columbia River flows from British Columbia through Washington, forming several miles of border between Washington and Oregon before emptying into the Pacific Ocean. It is the seventh longest river in North America and has 14 dams, 11 in the U.S. and 3 in Canada.
This view was taken in Washington looking toward Mt. Hood in Oregon.

on June 28, 2022Gorgeous scene! I sure hope you are well, Robert. I worry that something has happened, since I have not seen any new photos from your Yellowstone trip, which was quite a while ago.

on January 17, 2022What a beautiful scene, I love seeing the snow on Mt. Hood and the very wide river. The person in the boat near the trees really shows how vast this wonderful landscape it. The Fall color in the trees is a real treat too, we don't get a lot of color in our trees like you do in your area. This is an outstanding capture Robert!
