~ Red Walls ~
These are the narrow canyon walls of Avalanche Creek. The red color in the rock comes from oxygen being present in the atmosphere when they were formed.

on February 6, 2022This is such a stunning image Robert, I love the deep red in the rock and the other green bits surround them and that wonderful waterfall. Thank you for your comment on my boot fence image today - I believe you are right, roaming around Texas is very much like Oregon (except the topography) and you never know what you might find.
