~ Turbulent ~
In 1913 the Condit Dam was built to provide electricity for local industry in Underwood, Washington. It provided power for 98 years until it was decommissioned on October 16, 2011. The salmon and steelhead migration have slowly returned further upstream to these deep pools of the White Salmon River.
