The ocean is a place to relax and watch the sun go down. These are some images of marine life, tide pools, caves, arches, and sunsets on the Oregon and Washington Coast.
This 15 ft waterfall greets the sea at Hug Point on the northern Oregon Coast. Late 19th century stagecoaches that used the beach as a highway "had to 'hug' this particular point even at low tide to get around it", hence the name Hug Point.
