~Thor's Well ~
This natural wonder is approximately 15 ft deep and 12 ft in width. On an incoming tide water is forced through an entrance from the bottom of the lava rock and explodes upward. This was taken as water begins to recede downward.

on July 20, 2019Every time I enter this gallery, my eye is immediately drawn to the incredible image! When we were in Oregon, I wanted to shoot Thor's Well, but when I read about what one had to do to get into position, I knew I would not be able to get the shot. I'm so glad you were brave enough and fit enough to do it.
