May 18, 2010 marks the thirty year anniversary of the worst natural disaster to strike the Pacific Northwest. These are some images of the devastation and destruction that changed this unique landscape.
While climbing the west side of the crater rim I heard the sound of a rock slide. I looked to my right and captured this image from about one mile away.
