The Cape Flattery Trail is 1.2 miles through an old growth forest with views of several sea stacks by the beach. While you can hike all the way to the tip of Cap Flattery, the northwesternmost point of the U.S. is actually Tatoosh Island, three quarters of a mile off the cape.
