~ Horse Drawn Hay Rake ~
The invention of a horse drawn rake in the 1800's made the process of collecting hay much more efficient. The horse drawn rake could collect eight times as much as one hand raker. This efficiency lead to a larger quantity of feed for cattle.

on March 6, 2023Oh wow, I love this image! It really tells a story of the machine, the winter and reminds us how far technology has come since the invention of this hay rake. This is a photo that I'd be thrilled to have taken myself because I do love old equipment, barns, etc. I think you might want to print and frame this one, it's a winner for sure!
