Oregon Coast
~ Nooks and Crannies ~
I always like exploring new places on the Oregon Coast. This rock crevice looked to be about four feet deep and five feet wide, it's surrounded by mussels and barnacles. The water flows over the top on an incoming tide and quickly pours down into this little bowl before gradually returning to sea.

The silhouette of Haystack Rock at Cape Kiwanda.
Height: 327 feet.
This is a view of Cape Kiwanda and Haystack Rock in Pacific City. I climbed a 200 foot sand dune and waited for some of the morning fog to burn off to capture this view of the sandstone cliffs.

This was my last image taken in 2012. As the new year begins, I look forward to learning new techniques and visiting new places to photograph. It’s a wonderful experience to capture Nature and share it with those who appreciate it. Happy New Year!
